Photogenics

I couldn’t help myself.
Since Carey and I have iPods, we picked up the FP3 player for Maren for Christmas, so that we could all listen to stuff together. It’s really very cool, actually. It’s got very large buttons with really basic controls. You’re either playing something or not, and the playlist is determined by the software that you use to upload the music to the player, so there’s no navigation, other than forward and backward. So, I put in all kinds of fun stuff, some standard singalongs, some Dora The Explorer, some theme songs from her Nick Jr. and Playhouse Disney shows. So, when we go on trips in the car, she gets to bop along to her stuff. It’s fun to hear her singing along to them.
Today, I bought the digital camera for her because she’s been hands all over my camera. This one is as easy to use as the mp3 player, easier in fact. i’m hoping to start building a library of her pictures and put something together. She takes pictures like I do; constant random pictures and maybe one in 10 is any good.
She’s really starting to show her artistic side. Besides singing constantly, her teachers at sunday school say that she helps lead her other little friends in singing, and she dances like crazy, and is constantly drawing and things. It’s really fun watching her develop.
