Not so moody.

Ok, it’s just too much fun to mess with WP themes. This one is maybe not so dark and moody.
I stayed up till 2am last night working on another backing track for the band. It’s fun to listen to a song and pull out parts and try to recreate them myself. It is however, frusterating to work on a laptop with an LCD that’s burned out. That’s right, everybodys favourite Alienware Area 51-m7700 has apparrantly toasted it’s invertor card, and won’t backlight. Joy. And this comes 4 days after the 1 year warranty expired. luckily, just last week I put in for a 3 year warranty extension which the church picked up (cause they half paid for this thing) and it’s covered. sad though, really.

Maren has started approximating words better. “Ha-Boo?” means that she wants food, and she’s usually pointing at it. “Sheeesh!” either means, Cheese, or Please, or both. we’ve been trying to get her to say please when she wants something, and she’s pretty good at it. “Ha-Day!” means bye-bye, but now she’s also taken to saying “Shee-Ya!”, which is because I say See-Ya! so often when I leave. She knows: shoes, socks, shirt, pants, diaper, coat, jacket, zipper, slide, bubbles, spoon, toes, feet, fingers, hands, knees, bellybutton (her favourite), nose, eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, tongue (another favourite) hair, owie, bonk (usually synonymous) cereal, popcorn, cheese, cookies, soup, chicken, juice, mama, dada, grandma, grandpa, friends, church, and assorted friends at church. but she can’t say any of those.
